Palace in Patrykozy

Neo-Gothic mansion of the nineteenth century

Designed by renowned architect Francis Jaszczołd and built at the request of the Polish army General Theodore Szydłowski coat of arms Lubicz. The palace has preserved its rich neo-gothic stucco, numerous pinnacles, turrets with and 25-meter tower.

Patrykozy is a small village in the central-eastern Poland, situated in the Mazowieckie voivodship on the national road DK 63, connecting Siedlce with Sokołów Podlaski. One of the interesting sights is located here on the outskirts of the town surrounded by picturesque gardens, romantic neo-gothic palace. This building was created in the forties of XIX century on the initiative of the Polish army general from the period of November Uprising - Theodore Szydłowski coat of arms Lubicz. Responsible for the project was architect Francis Jaszczołd (1808-1873). The building was diverse enough to have a lump that each side is different.

After the general's death in 1863 manor got into the hands of his nephew Anthony Szydłowski, who some time later sold the palace to Raymond Skarżyński.
