Russian / Soviet heavy machine gun. One of the many versions of Hiram Maxim machine gun. Maxim wz. 1910 was a weapon of self-team. The principle of its operation was based on the short recoil of the barrel. Locking the knee-lever system. The trigger mechanism allowed only fire continuously. Power Band (continuous tape, Webbing). Overloading a rotating handle the castle. Maxim wz. 1910 had a non-replaceable barrel, water cooled, ending beater. Sights consisted of a fixed front sight and adjustable viewfinder frame area. It was equipped with a circular design basis Sokolov with a protective shield.
Maxim machine guns wz. 1910 was also arming the Polish Army. After regaining independence in 1918 Maxims wz. 1910 was one of the main types of machine guns used by the Polish army.
