In principle, it is a half of duplex repeater stations designed to build a high-speed single-channel radio lines.
With these devices, it was possible to take "patches" to the field of wireline in those places where the terrain made it impossible to lead the telephone cord, for example: wide rivers, marshes, an area heavily contaminated BST etc ... It was used also as a simplex radio station on points of command.
