Mosin 1891

Repeating rifle

Russian rifle designed in the late nineteenth century by Sergei Mosina. This rifle and its development versions were the primary infantry weapon of the Russian Red Army since the 90s nineteenth century to the 50s, when it was replaced AK assault rifle. Model 1891 rifle is an individual weapon repeatable.

With Mosin rifle sharpshooter benefited the most effective in military history - the Finn Simo Häyhä. With the weapons used this system also regarded as one of the most effective Soviet snipers - Vasily Zaytsev.
